چکیده
Availability of water in the Ganges River basin has been recognized as a critical regional issue with significant impact on drinking supply, irrigation, well industrial development, and ecosystem services vast areas South Asia. In addition, availability is also strongly linked to energy security region. Hence, quantification spatial resources necessary bolster reliable evaluation sustainability future thermal power plants basin. This study focuses risks facing existing planned regarding availability, applying climate change scenarios at sub-basin district level up 2050. For this purpose, develops an integrated assessment approach quantify water-energy nexus four selected sub-basins Ganges, namely, Chambal, Damodar, Gandak, Yamuna. The results simulations using Soil Water Assessment Tools (SWAT) showed that will increase significantly Gandak during wet season, negligibly dry except for Yamuna sub-basin, which likely experience decrease available both seasons under Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) 8.5 scenario. Changes supply-demand ratio, due change, indicated water-related would reduce Chambal Damodar sub-basins, there be sufficient future. 19 out 23 districts have moderate-positive high-positive reducing risk by contrast, face increasing risks. proposed new installations, particularly are serious shortages, adversely affect stability their operations. These stimulate guide research work optimize nexus, inform development planning organizations, investors, concerning distribution so more accurate decisions can made location plants.

Investigation of climate change impacts on streamflow regime of a river Arazkooseh River Basin
In this research, impacts of climate change on the streamflow hydrological status of the Arazkooseh River are discussed. After Calibration and validation of the LARS-WG, HadCM3 was downscaled under A2 Scenario in three climatology station. Beside, calibration and validation of the SWAT model were done by observed data relative to past period of times. Streamflow values are then predicted using ...
